Eric Thieling

Eric Thieling is the general manager of Hilton Minneapolis. In his role, Eric oversees the 836-room hotel encompassing the entire city block adjacent to the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Eric’s extensive career spans more than 20 years in the hospitality industry. He has held key positions at various Hilton properties across prestigious locations including Boston, New York City, Baltimore, Columbus, Detroit, and Chicago. Notably, his most recent role was as the general manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago - Magnificent Mile/Hilton Grand Vacations Club Chicago Magnificent Mile, a dual-branded 456-room hotel featuring 20,000 square feet of meeting space.

Eric received his Bachelor of Liberal Arts & Science in Political Science from the University of Connecticut, and a certificate of culinary arts from the Connecticut Culinary Institute.
